The Truth Story about SnehaJyothi Trust

Trust Beginning Days

Myself T.G.Murthy was working as a worker in a farm and also was doing my education. I don’t have father. My mother made a request to the owner of the farm (G. Anand Sir) to raise me as part of them and make me an educated person. Like a father, the owner of the farm raised and looked after me very well by providing good food, clothes etc. and also provided me education, for all these I will always have great gratitude towards him. Currently, I am residing in the same farm only.

My Profession

  • Dairying, feeding grass to the cows, milking.
  • Silkworm poultry, cutting of mulberry plants for the silkworms, after its growth it reaches a stage called Pupa and it is kept in the silkworm mat for the creation of cocoon. At this stage, the cocoons are sold in the Ramanagara silk market. In the field of Silkworm farming I had been identified by the Karnataka Silkworm Organization, Bengaluru in 2008-2009. For producing good quality of cocoons in the silkworm poultry, I have rewarded with cash prize Rs. 10,000 for securing second place at the Vidhana Soudha Banquet Hall.

Sir, G. Anand provided me education and made me an educated person. Because of the help he provided, I felt from the bottom of my heart that I have to help some poor and orphan children by providing shelter, food and education. Hence in my own house in Thagachaguppe village, I established a hostel with the cooperation of my wife R.Daisey. My son David T.M provided Martial Arts training to the kids and my daughter Jyothi T.M taught cultural activities such as Yakshagana, Bharathanatyam and dance to the kids. In this way, each of them helped me. In the beginning of starting the trust (In 2010) 9 poor and orphan kids were residing. Now, the trust has established orphanage in Bengaluru, Ramanagara and Mysore under Government registration. Under the help of various donors, currently we are providing shelter, food and education to 69 children with the blessings of the God.

In this social service, our trust was given various awards by other recognised trust and also by the Government.

The sad days I underwent:

One of the child of the Orphanage, Nissan Buddha of 7 years had a fever one day developed a disorder G.B.S. We showed him to some 5-6 hospitals. My son David.T.M suggested us to show him to the Nerve Doctor in the Vijayanagar. Within that time he was unable to walk, we used to carry him in our shoulder. The nerve doctor said that the child is infected with G.B.S disorder and suggested to admit him to the Indira Gandhi Children Hospital in Jayanagar. He was admitted in ICU for 7 days and was shifted to normal ward for was there for 6 days. In this 15 days, R.Daisey(my wife) was along with the child for 15 days. I used to wait near the entrance gate. David used to get food daily to the hospital. These 15 days were the saddest days of our lives and we prayed God for his speedy recovery. Indira Gandhi hospital Director and R.MC sir and the doctors took special care of him as he belonged to SnehaJyoti Orphan Children Home. I wholeheartedly thank all the doctors, nurses and others who helped us during the child time in hospital.

Now, the child has recovered completely and is healthy.
